Here are some of the photos that the Photographer did for the Owen's wedding back in February. The groom couldn't make his mind up so we did a collage cake that included and iPhone, movie popcorn, motorcycle, a shamrock, his scriptures, and an armadillo. The wedding cake is also featured with the groom's cake.

Emri turned 8!!! I made 3 dozen girly, glittery cupcakes for refreshments after her baptism. They were chocolate and vanilla with vanilla buttercream. They were all adorned with sugar paste flowers, butterflies and medallions that had "8" and "E" on them. They tasted amazing and were tons of fun!

Baby Shower Cake!

I was blessed to be able to do a baby shower cake this past week for a couple from my church. This was such a privilege. This couple has been waiting along time for their baby and have been blessed with a beautiful daughter named Lilia. I made a decadent chocolate cake I like to call the chocolate caramel truffly cake. It was chocolate pound cake layered and filled with vanilla caramel and a rich chocolate ganache and iced in buttercream. I covered the cake with a baby yellow fondant and added a pink sugar paste bow and fun sugar paste butterflies. The cake was pearlized and there was just a hint of pixie dust to make it extra special and give that little bit of girly glitter. The cake was finished off will a sugar paste pink "L" for Lilia's name. It was so much fun to watch the glowing new parents and their family and friends enjoy the cake at their baby shower bash! Sister Smith also sent some pictures of the cake at the party with the new parents.

Most Recent Wedding

This is the most recent cake I've finished. It was inspired by a cake found on Brides.com. The cake was a hit from what I've heard. Everyone raved about how good it tasted. It was made out of two different flavors. 2 of the tiers were banana cake with banana caramel frosting and filling and a slight hint of lime and rum and the other 2 tiers were vanilla butter cake vanilla icing and raspberry filling with a slight hint of lemon. It was a very fun project.

More Recent cakes and cookies...

I just finished this football helmet cake and cookies. I've also recently done a superman cake that has actually been ordered twice. It's been fun and I am so excited about an upcoming order for a wedding cake and grooms cake.
